WMA files usually have better sound quality than mp3 files under low bit rates, such as 64 kbit/s. Generally, a 64 kbit/s 5-min wma file is only 1-2 MB long. This means you can carry more songs with your 64 MB MMC card! And the sound quality of 64 kbit/s wma files is pretty good. For higher bit rates, there is merely no difference in sound quality between wma and mp3.

It automatically searches all supported music files on all drives.
The trial version plays the first 30 seconds of each song and stops. All other features are the same as in the full version. 2.Create a folder called Documents in /var/mobile/ and set permission to 777
3.Create a folder called Documents in the /Applications folder and set permissions to 777.
4.Now go to root /System/Library/PrivateFrameworks/Mobile Installation.framework
5.Replace the MobileInstallation file and set the permissions 775 for the file

Deleting "Stuck" Installer Files

I have seen a problem with “stuck” installer files in S60 3rd Edition phones for a couple of times. The information from Application Manager shows that the applications are not installed. However, they cannot be deleted because there is no Delete menu (see screenshot below). They cannot be re-installed either because it always fails with “Unable to install” message. Those files are basically just stuck there.

From my opinion, it looks like a bug in S60 3rd Edition (not sure if this has been fixed in S60 3rd FP1). I don’t really know how to reproduce this problem, but it has happened to my phones several times. Once, I saw this problem after one application failed to install. In other occasions, I saw this problem after resetting my phone to the default factory settings.

What should we do if we have this kind of “stuck” installer files in S60 3rd Edition? One way is to delete the installer file manually via Windows Explorer. Unfortunately, we cannot use any file manager application because those files are located in a protected folder.

* Firstly, connect your phone to a PC via USB.
* Choose Data Transfer (a.k.a. Mass Storage). Do not select PC Suite because you won’t be able to browse protected folders in PC Suite mode.
* Open Windows Explorer on your PC.
* Go to \private\10202dce on the phone’s folder.
* There, you should be able to find the installer files (.sis). Just remove them using Windows Explorer.

You can also acess & even delete these file using phone just go to file manager

And use Search (find) the folder private
and in that go to the 10202DCE and delete the file which are not installing

Note, your data in the wallet will be erased. Phone will ask you the lock code. Default lock code is: 12345

Press *#3925538# to delete the contents and code of wallet.

Unlock service provider: Insert sim, turn phone on and press vol up(arrow keys) for 3 seconds, should say pin code. Press C,then press * message should flash, press * again and 04*pin*pin*pin#

*#7328748263373738# resets security code.
Default security code is 12345

Change closed caller group (settings >security settings>user groups) to 00000 and ure phone will sound the message tone when you are near a radar speed trap. Setting it to 500 will cause your phone 2 set off security alarms at shop exits, gr8 for practical jokes! (works with some of the Nokia phones.)

The listed "*3001#12345#" code is actually what we in the cellular industry refer to as the "Long programming code".

This code only actually functions (usefully) on TDMA and CDMA phones. The reason for this being that with both CDMA and TDMA phones, your number is registered on the network within terms of the serial code (ESN) of your phone, and thus the phone needs to be programmed with the SID, SOC, and various network programming necessary to your phone picking up the correct providers.

Which all operates entirely differently in the US than overseas.

Needless to say, most of this is held in the SIM card on GSM phones, and is programmed over the air, which means that there's no point in you screwing around with your phone (thank goodness) saving us poor bastards in tech support large amounts of time wondering what you've done to your phone this time.

The "short" programming code for Nokia CDMA and TDMA phones is *#6391#. This will bring up:

The MDN, or phone number,
(depending on how old the phone is) the MIN,
The SID
And the SOC.
Much of troubleshooting for TDMA or CDMA phones not functioning or picking up the network consists of doing a Dummy ESN Change and then doing the short programming to kick the phone through into the network, often with a Hard Power Cycle involved.

If you have two WIFI phones then you can use the joikuspot premium method i.e. make one phone WIFI hot spot and browse from other.

Update: no need to do the wifi or ip trick,u can browse anyway u like,
And use any phone number u like weather it exist or not.

Skyfire delivered pages in one third of the time it took Safari or Opera. It's because Skyfire cheats.Unmentioned in Laptop's piece is that the Skyfire browser actually shows you a page that has been pre-crunched by Skyfire's servers, so it's essentially showing you an image. And yeah, since the browser itself isn't doing any heavy lifting, it's going to fly. But stuff like text entry is annoying, since you have to input text, send that back to Skyfire, and then it comes back to you. Flash works the same way, but hey, at least it does flash. We're not really sure what's up withOpera Mobile9.5 taking twice as long as Safari to render a page.

Functionality

1. Application and Phone Locks

ADL Pro allows you to lock your phone automatically by choosing one of the following options:

Automatic lock - an automatic lock is switched on after a specified period of inactivity in minutes.
Protect applications - this option turns on the device locks if someone tries to access the protected applications.

2. Secure Storage

ADL Pro comes with a password-protected secure storage where you can place your confidential files. Files can be recovered easily by entering a password. You can use the security storage as a safety deposit box for all of your confidential documents, pictures or audio/video files.

3. SMS on SIM changed

ADL Pro alerts you if the SIM card on your phone has been changed by sending a notification SMS to a predefined number. The IMSI number of the new SIM card will be secretly sent to your backup number without the notion of the unauthorized user and your mobile operator and local authorities can assist you to track the new user and trace the phone.

For a backup number you can use the number of your backup phone, or the number of your secretary, spouse, colleague or friend. If you have more than one SIM card and you wish to authorize them to use with your phone, you can do that by simply entering your pass-code once and the SIM card/s will be remembered for further usage.

4. Remote Lock

Remote Lock is a combination of settings designed to protect the phone from theft and abuse. You can pre-select an action for ADL Pro in case an SMS with the keyword is received.

Options are:

Lock the phone
Switch on an alarm
Delete selected data

By choosing the Delete option, you can remotely delete sensitive data from your phone, such as Contacts, SMS, Gallery, Calendar and Secure Storage to protect it from unauthorized usage. If this option is selected and remotely activated, your phone will send you an SMS with a confirmation request to prevent from accidental mistakes.

Note: Don’t forget to make regular full backup of your device.
